Trade Opportunities with Mexico Location: WTC Denver, 1625 Broadway, Suite 820 Cost: $FREE for WTC Denver and Chamber of the Americas Members, $15 for Non-Members About the Roundtable: In the last few years, Mexico has emerged as Colorado's second largest international trading partner taking $950 million in goods in 2007. Recent moves by the Mexican administration to open railroads, telecommunications, electricity generation, natural gas distribution and airports to international competition are creating a number of exciting new trade opportunities. This roundtable program will focus on an overview of the business climate and current and new opportunities in Mexico. Presentations from Mexican Consul General Eduardo Arnal and the Colorado International Trade Office's new Trade Representative in Mexico City will provide attendees with an understanding of the micro and macro economic climate and of the resources available to assist in developing trade between the two regions.
